Daniel Silverstain, an Israeli designer based in New York City exploring textiles and natural forms in an era of hi-technology and industrialism, expanded on his premise of multi-functionality. A silver puffer and denim coat, for example, featured removable denim sleeves, while a jacquard top had an adjustable hem — wear it as a micro-mini dress or a tunic. Still in its infancy, the two-year-old label’s future depends upon developing his relaxed utilitarian aesthetic beyond adjustable garments.
