EDWIN Co., LTD, maker of EDWIN Jeans, announces the re-launch of EDWIN for the North American markets. Having launched over 70 years ago, the EDWIN brand has been know for its authenticity, innovation and craftsmanship throughout the world of fashion. EDWIN prides itself on the timelessness and quality of its products. From utilizing exclusive fabrics, revolutionary production technologies with state-of-the-art finishing and continual progression in design and fit, EDWIN has created its own niche in the market.
The brand currently has over 3,000 points of sale at retail throughout Japan and Europe, and 31 company-owned stores in Japan. Based in the Arts District, downtown Los Angeles, the new EDWIN collection is being designed by Adriano Goldschmied. The first collection will be a limited capsule collection for men and women, available for Holiday ’17 retail, with a small and focused collection of stand alone items for Spring / Summer 2018. Goldschmied has tapped into EDWIN’s long history for inspiration while bringing a modern aesthetic to the new collection. Staying true to the roots of the brand, the collection will be manufactured in Japan. EDWIN Co, LTD has also announced that industry veteran, Vince Gonzales, has been brought on to oversee all sales and marketing for the brand in North America. Gonzales is known for having launched several prominent men’s brands in North America, including Ben Sherman, EVISU and Meltin’ Pot.
