A Fall Of 9% In The Denim Export From Bangladesh To EU During Jan-Aug’19 , Is All OK ?

The unstable market conditions, falling disposable incomes, and demand are now affecting the gigantic manufacturers and the global leaders in the production, and Bangladesh – one of the biggest jeans exporters worldwide, has also been affected in its exports. If the data is to be believed, Bangladesh reported a fall of 10.76 % in their jeans export to the EU for the period Jan-August,2019  compared to the same period last year.  In this report, we analyze the following  :

1. Volumes exported by Bangladesh to EU and Its corresponding average price
2. Export of Men and Women Jeans to EU and Its corresponding average price
3. Jeans imported by leading EU countries separately. This is to analyze how different countries are individually interacting with Bangladesh as a supplier.
4. % Share in the Imports of Jeans from Bangladesh
